Operators first. Builders always.
We improve processes, build the software behind them and run brands of our own. The work changes. The standard does not.

What we do.
- AccelWe measure what one recurring process costs in hours and euros, from your ERP's own history, and build only what pays back.
- SystemsOrders, stock, dossiers or reporting in one system built against your ERP, in your repository from the first commit.
- BrandsSourcing, Shopify, paid media and 3PL, run the way we run our own two brands.
Who we are.
Vertuem is a small studio in New York with Dutch roots. We run two consumer brands of our own and, for a few companies a year, measure one process, build the software behind it, or launch and run a brand. Everything we sell has run on a business we own first.
Thijs LecramRuns Brands and Accel. Sourced and launched Bigens and TeddyChamps.
Wouter van StralenRuns Systems. Built the OMS and the advisory CRM.
- Studio
- 447 Broadway, New York. Dutch roots, clients on both sides of the Atlantic.
- Owned brands
- Bigens, a 1990s original relaunched in 2024. TeddyChamps, started 2024 and shipping since 2025.
- One team
- The people on the call are the people on the work: advise, build and operate, without hand-offs.
- How we start
- A free thirty-minute call, then the Accel Diagnosis. Lightweight from €5,000, full builds from €10,000, ongoing at €150 an hour.

How we work.
Six rules that hold whether the client is us or someone else. The same six our own team is held to.
- 01
Senior by default
No juniors learning on a client's dime.
- 02
Written before spoken
Decisions of Record, written first, a clear document at every step.
- 03
Ship weekly, review monthly
Weekly demo, monthly retrospective, quarterly strategy.
- 04
Remote, with a centre
Distributed, anchored in New York. Travel when it matters, not as theatre.
- 05
Skin in the game
Equity for rate discount is on the table. The team operates the way owners would.
- 06
Saying no is part of the work
We turn down most of the work that comes to us and hold ourselves to the same bar.
If it is worth building, it is worth a call.
Thirty minutes about one process. We tell you what it costs, whether anything is worth building, and say so plainly if it is not.
Thirty minutes. No obligation.
